Bale: Ronaldo has helped me a lot



Real Madrid midfielder Gareth Bale says that having Cristiano Ronaldo to show him the ropes around Madrid have helped him to settle down.
Bale told askmen.com that he was initially struggling to adjust to his surroundings after his move from Tottenham Hotspur, with an injury not helping matters.
What has been the difference according to Bale is being shown around the Spanish capital and spending with Ronaldo off the pitch.
Since the midfielder has regained full fitness he and Ronaldo have formed a strong connection on the field punishing teams around Europe.
"Cristiano’s been great since I’ve been here and helped me a lot," he told askmen.com. "I think the partnership we’re creating on the pitch is very positive. We’re looking forward to that getting better and better in the future.
"He’s a great support. He’s been brilliant, offering advice and helping me out with the city.
"It’s great here. Obviously now I’m really enjoying it very much. It’s got a bit cold now, but apart from that, it’s fantastic. I just enjoying being out here and playing for Real Madrid,” he added.
