According to Daily Express Napoli boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly keen on signing Danish defender Daniel Agger.
It is reported that Agger is unsettled at Anfield
considering the abundance of options in the heart of the defence available to coach Brendan Rogers, with the likes of Sakho, Toure, Skrtel all ahead of him in the pecking order and with reserve player Tiago Ilori waiting to break into the first team, Agger might deem it fit to consider Napoli's offer.
Agger was heavily linked with Spanish giants Barcelona but the deal failed to materialise as Agger decided to fight for his place at anfield.
It is reported that Napoli are willing to offer him £3.5 million a year.
